Where can I go in Spa for good food?

A stop at Domino Steak House right in Francorchamps is almost as mandatory for many Formula 1 fans as the race itself. The renowned restaurant offers great steaks served on a stone, and it also has exceptional burgers.

The unassuming Halmes Bakery in the village of Malmedy, just east of the Formula 1 Spa circuit, is something of a pit stop for many fans on the way to the circuit. It’s famous for its delicious baguettes, which many people take to the track, so they don’t have to run to the food stalls on the circuit during the thrilling moments.

For one of the best restaurants around, you have to head all the way to the town of Spa, which is about four kilometres from the circuit itself. Here you will find the CôtéProche restaurant, where you can enjoy a real fine dining experience for a reasonable price. Just be warned;you need to book well in advance. And that applies even on normal days!

Don’t you want to experiment? You can enjoy traditional Italian cuisine, from pizza to great pasta, at L´Olivier right in Spa. You get good food for a reasonable price. And they’ll be happy to pack your pizza to go!

Want to eat well while watching the race track? Yes, you can. The Pit Bar Resto gets you more of a view right on the circuit’s finish line. But you’re more likely to enjoy the food here at a non-Formula 1 racing event. That’s when the restaurant is virtually inaccessible.

Where to have a drink in Spa

 Whether you want to get ready for the F1 or share your excitement after the race, these are some of the best bars and pubs close to Spa and the Spa-Francorchamps circuit where you should have a drink.

Don’t miss the Boteye Bar right in Spa. It’s famous for its great drinks, accompanied by small snacks, served by the friendly staff.
